ABOUT
ME

From sketchbooks
to video games.
Hi! My name is Rasmus, and two years ago I made the decision to turn my two lifelong passions for art and video games into a career.
Growing up, I was one of those kids who was always drawing things; my math book was full of doodles.
I used to read PC Gamer and draw made-up 2D games in a sketchbook on my way to school, and this eventually led me to study Arts & Forms in high school.
Fast forward a couple of years, I was living in Norrköping with my girlfriend, working full-time and studying to improve my grades at the same time, aiming for architecture schools when something just hit me: you could actually work with video games, and there were schools for it as well! So I took the leap and applied to the Level Design program at The Game Assembly in Stockholm, and the rest is in my portfolio.
Outside of my passion for game development, I try to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Alongside daily excursions with my Aussie, Nero, I’m also an avid rope climber who often convinces friends and colleagues to join me at the gym!
I am part of The Game Assembly’s internship program. As per the agreement between the Games Industry and The Game Assembly, neither student nor company may be in contact with one another regarding internships before April 23rd. Any internship offers can be made on May 5th, at the earliest.
